Good Bye, Golf
So, I know I haven't been here as long as any of you guys have, but I feel like in the time I have gotten to know you guys, you already became like family to me. Because I didn't go to Hynes like any of you people did, I can't think of anybody there I would like to thank. I would, however like to give a quick thanks to my teachers back at SJB if you happen to stumble on my blog while on the internet.
First off, I would like to thank all of the eighth grade for just being the amazing people that they are. I would also like to thank the special people of my class. You guys have been some of my best friends throughout my few years of being here. I am glad that I got the chance to meet all of you wonderful people, all of you were so kind to me from Trisha, who baked treats for us, to Jason who I didn't exactly get off on the best foot with, (even Konrad, who was nice, well sometimes, actually a few times).
Second, I would like to thank all the other students at golf, from the kids that do the announcement, to my fifth grade buddy, and to the seventh graders in my gym class that became my friends. I would like to thank you all for helping me get through the last year of middle school.
Finally, I would like to thank all my teachers for teaching me and helping me get all the way to this point. I would especially like to thank Mrs. Joyner, for being the most fun, amazing, and caring person I have ever met. I would like to thank Mr. Carro, for always making learning fun with his puns. And last, but not least I would like to give a special thanks Mrs. Grossman, for not only teaching me well, but moving me into a class that I will never ever forget.

Dear 5th Grade Me...
I have some advice for you...
1) Develop Study Habits! I know it sounds really boring to do, but it will be worth it! Even right now I still need to work on my studying
2) Try to stay close to your friends, or they might drift away. Sometimes, friends you have known for a long time, will change. Or maybe, you will change, but either way, keep your close friends.
3) Prepare for a whole different world. Right now, you may be just coasting by in school, barely doing work, but I assure you that middle school is completely different. There is much more work that you have to do, and sometimes it can mess with your sleep
4) Finally, STOP PROCRASTINATING. I wish I could have actually taken this advice, but know that if you procrastinate in the future, you will definitely regret it.

The beginning of everything
In the beginning of anything, whether it be a game, an event, or a recital, you will always feel one or more of these 4 things. You will feel either feel complete fear because of how completely unprepared you are, anticipation for the event to start because of how overly prepared you are, nervousness from just being scared to mess up, and/or nothing at all because you don't care how you do because this will not effect you in any way. For me, I normally feel fear because no matter what, I always feel like I am completely unprepared. It doesn't matter if I studied all night (which I probably didn't) or didn't study at all (which is probably what happened), I will feel scared of failing. But, once you finally start, you can relax because either it goes completely how you imagined (which would be terrible because I always imagine worst case scenarios) or it goes great!

It's Complicated...
So today, I am going to be talking about something that is complicated for me. I mean sure, complicated can mean tests, quizzes, or maybe even playing games, but for me, the thing that is most complicated is using my memory. For example, whenever I have to do a chore, say take out the trash, there are some times when I remember, but most of the time I forget and that gets me in trouble. Another example is the Rubik's cube, to solve a Rubik's cube, you have to be either extremely smart, or be able to memorize algorithms. Almost every time I meet with my cousins, I get made fun of because I can't solve a Rubik's cube. Finally, the last thing that is complicated, is my cousins! They always change what they want, what they do, and what they like! I can't keep up with whatever goes on in their heads, whatever that may be. They change whatever game or activity they like after about a month of playing, for example, about two weeks ago, the Rubik's cube wasn't even something they knew how to mix, let alone solve. So, those are some of the things in my life that are complicated, I know it's not very personal, but I didn't feel like sharing some of the more personal things in my life that are complicated, sorry!Saturday, April 15, 2017
Guess which test is totally CCRAP
You may already know what I am talking about just from the title, but the test I am talking about is the PARCC test. This test totally makes me mad! I hate it so much, but sadly every year we have to take it. In my opinion, the PARCC test is one of the worst things we have to do in the school year. In fact, I believe that we shouldn't even take this test at all. Sadly, I don't think the school would allow all the students to skip out on PARCC. This is just my opinion, but I know some people may say that it helps to gauge our knowledge. But for me, I still think that this test is CCRAP!

Look at these amazing pictures of animals. Hopefully they will help you focus for whatever tests you have coming... If not at least you got to see these cute animals.

My Living Tribute
I want to give a tribute to my grandfather. He is still alive, but he isn't the same. He had a stroke about 8 years ago, and since then my grandma, mom, uncle, and aunt have all been doing their best to take care of him. I don't remember much about my grandpa from before he was sick, but I do have one very clear memory. It was on Valentine's Day, our whole family was eating together, my mom, my aunt, my grandpa, and my uncle. He picked me up and I just remember me laughing. I remember this as my best memories with my grandpa. I know that even though he can't talk to me, I know he still loves me as much as he did back then.
